With a bachelors from the Berklee college of Music & a master's in composition, Michael has vast training in classical & contemporary music, providing lessons on Piano, Upright Bass, Cello & Guitar. He specializes in improv, ensemble directing, composition & music theory. 

Michael is also in charge of the RJAM with TKMS and works as the PT Orchestra Director at Bishop Dunne. 

Danica’s love for music started in childhood and has grown into a lifelong passion. She’s a proud UT Austin alum, where she earned her degree in theatre with a focus on theatre design/tech.

We’re excited to have Danica on board to help us expand our reach in the community and share the joy of music and the arts with everyone. Whether it’s questions about lessons, scheduling, or anything in between, she’s here to support you! 

As a former elementary, middle and high school educator, Wendy is stepping into the role of preschool music teacher using Musikgarten curriculum. Musikgarten curriculum uses traditional children's songs, instruments, movement and listening to enhance neurological development and awaken the musician in every child. Wendy is so excited to introduce children ages 1-4 and their parents to songs and games that facilitate learning and strengthen the parent-child bond.

Sage is a trained musician and musical instructor with years of teaching and playing experience.  As a multi-instrumental musician, Sage specializes in violin and piano, with additional experience in professional recordings, performance singing and guitar.  

 A graduate of the University of North Texas, Kirby spent five years as a Percussion Coordinator in public schools. Now he spends his time teaching privately and performing as a professional guitarist. Kirby has performed in a variety of musical settings: churches, jazz ensembles, musical pits, cover bands, and more. He’s fluent in a wide variety of styles from Jazz to R&B/Soul and Rock/Pop 

Melanie Silva is a voice/beginning piano teacher with over 10 years of experience. Ranging in genres from country music to jazz to opera, Melanie considers herself a well-rounded vocalist with a heart made for teaching. She is currently a member of Inspirata Music, a local semi-professional chamber choir, and the Dallas Symphony Chorus. 

Touted by the Dallas Morning News over her 15 year professional singing career as “a substantive, Power House Soprano!” and “a most communicative performer” with a voice that is “enamel finished, generously expressive with a gleaming top!” Anna Fredericka Poppova brings her vast teaching and international performance experience to our BOCO Family this year! She leads & works with multiple orchestras and bands—working in multiple genres— across the world and shares her wisdom by teaching voice—(all styles & all ages—beginner Pino, vocal/theatre workshops and audition prep workshops. 

With a diverse career spanning stage, film, and television, Yolonda Williams currently hosts the TV show "Fun on the Run" which airs on CW33! She has also appeared in RoboCop, produced the blues documentary Can't You Hear the Wind Howl: The Life and Music of Robert Johnson, and performed with Walt Disney World's premier acapella ensemble, American Vybe. Beyond her work in entertainment, Yolonda is passionate about teaching students the fundamentals of musical theatre, choral performance, and mixed media. At BOCO, Yolonda teaches voice through our Vocal Labs and performance workshops.
