Please reach us at admin@boco-music.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
If you or your child need to miss a lesson, we require no less than a 24-hour notice. If you give us less than 24 hours, you have forfeited that lesson and we will not give a makeup lesson.
With proper 24-hour notice, we will be happy to reschedule your lesson for a different day in that same week either with your music teacher or with the music director. The other option is to credit that lesson to the following month.
The teacher will wait 15 minutes MAX while trying to contact you via phone & text message. If there is no contact made, then the teacher will leave after the 15 minutes, and the lesson will be considered forfeited with no refunds. If a student is late to a lesson, the teacher is only required to provide the lesson time that is left in the allotted time frame to that student. Please pick up your child(ren) from our school on time as the teacher may have another student immediately following yours. If the teacher is required to wait for the student, a fee will be invoiced accordingly.
Once students register with BOCO, parents & students should understand that photographs, videos, and/or audio recordings may be edited, modified, or combined with other media, and may be used in perpetuity by BOCO for the purposes outlined above.
Parents & Students waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written copy that may be created in connection therewith.
I release and discharge the school, its employees, representatives, and assigns from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs, videos, and/or audio recordings, including but not limited to any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of moral rights.
If you wish to not have your photos and or images used, we will gladly take note that your child not be filmed, photographed and or use images of your child/student on any promotional materials for our program.
The annual $100 membership fee at BOCO Music School is a one-time fee that covers facility maintenance, mymusicstaff support, and updates to services throughout the school year. Here's a short summary of what the administration fee is for and what it covers:
The membership fee supports the following:
BOCO usually follows the Dallas Independent School District when determining to close the Conservatory due to a holiday or inclement weather.
If the studio is closed due to a nationally recognized holiday, or school break, BOCO is not required to offer makeup lessons for missed lessons that fell on that day. No deductions of tuition will be made for holidays.
If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather, parents have 14 days to schedule a make up lesson. This allows BOCO to keep our clients and teachers safe in the event of inclement weather.

All cancellations in billing for any enrollment requires a 30-day written notice. This notice must be signed by the student (18 +) or by the student’s parent or legal guardian and given to management for filing. You can also email us at hello@boco-music.com .
If you are leaving for a month or even a few weeks, let us know as soon as possible. If you are missing anything more than a week in one month, we can figure out a way to double up lessons to make the lessons all average out. If you need to take a full month off, we require 30 days’ notice to cancel billing on your account. This 30-day notice needs to be in writing with your signature on it for filing purposes. Without a 30-day notice for a billing cancellation, you will be prorated for the following month to 30 days after notification. In some instances, this may equal a full month. We cannot hold your day or time slot during time-off or after cancellation.
We bill on the 1st of the month for all the lessons of that month. For any additional school events, books, recital tickets, and/or equipment rentals, those charges will be made seperately.
You are not required to stay with your child during the duration of their lesson. Each of our rooms are equipped with video surveillance for both your safety as well as that of our teachers. In the event that you are dropping off your child, please note that it is a violation of local ordinance and a huge safety hazard to stop at the curb in front of the studio in order to drop off children. For the safety of your child, please ensure that you do not leave the parking lot until you have seen your child enter the front door of BOCO.
