Job Summary:
The Part-Time Operations Manager at BOCO is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, organizing classes and lessons, and ensuring effective communication with parents. This role also involves overseeing contracts with onsite services at schools. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting music education.
Duites:
- Operational Management:
- Organize and coordinate class schedules and one-on-one lessons with teachers.
- Manage and update school policies, ensuring compliance with educational standards and best practices.
- Handle administrative tasks related to daily operations, including scheduling, enrollment, and attendance tracking.
- Parent and Student Correspondence:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing inquiries and providing information about programs and policies.
- Facilitate effective communication between teachers, parents, and students to ensure a positive educational experience.
- Manage parent-teacher correspondence, including updates on student progress and school events.
- Contract Management:
- Oversee contracts with onsite services at partner schools, ensuring all agreements are up-to-date and properly executed.
- Liaise with school administrators to maintain positive relationships and address any contractual issues.
- Seasonal Event Coordination:
- Assist in planning and executing school events, including recitals and performances, which may require occasional weekend availability.
- Coordinate logistics for events, such as scheduling, setup, and communication with participants.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related recommended, but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in operations management or administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting. But not required.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
